Main structure and features
•Two overhead gantry drives on the Y axis provide maximum dynamics and a highly rigid mechanical structure. The bed is made of high strength cast iron to optimize shock absorption;
• Due to ergonomic considerations, heavy workpieces can be directly hung on the workbench by the overhead crane via the movable roof;
• The integrated two axis rotary table with a diameter of 800mm is equipped with a high dynamic torque direct drive motor. Rotation angle is +/ 135°, offering very flexible machining types;
• In addition to the standard 26kW spindle, there are other spindle models such as: a specially designed 27kW spindle with a lockable structure for efficient milling/turning;
• All castings are stress relieved and the surfaces are finished to maintain long term accuracy and long service life, providing the highest machining quality for a wide range of milling/turning applications.
